Bodytrio organized a heartfelt community fundraiser in memory of Dan Scharfman, raising funds for Belmont schools and reinforcing the studio's commitment to wellness with purpose.
In a powerful display of community spirit and purpose-driven wellness, Bodytrio was spotlighted in Belmont Patch for hosting a fundraiser in honor of the late Dan Scharfman—a cherished Belmont School Committee member and advocate for educational equity. The event supported the Dan Scharfman Memorial Fund, which helps fund technology initiatives in Belmont public schools.
The studio offered a donation-based Pilates class, with all proceeds benefiting the cause. Founder Donna Scro emphasized that wellness extends beyond the studio walls, noting that the event was not just about movement, but about “moving with meaning.” The turnout from the Belmont community demonstrated how local businesses can become forces for good, using their platforms to uplift others and inspire positive change.
This initiative reflects Bodytrio’s core values—compassion, connection, and community. The studio remains proud to continue integrating social impact into its mission of mindful, balanced living.
